Summer Wildflowers



Prairie sites reach their peak of bloom between late July and mid August each year. The best sites for seeing a profusion of wildflowers are Tallgrass Prairie Heritage Park, Spring Garden Prairie (off Spring Garden Road) and the Ojibway Prairie Provincial Nature Reserve.

The following plants begin to bloom in July or August:
